Tom's garage: Using Coke to get the job done |
| Rating: (1 Readers)

One day while visiting Tom's garage I saw the American dog drinking some Coke while getting ready to place a dead battery on the battery charger.

While I was patiently sitting there I asked him if he could look at my bumper because it fell off the other day. He quickly told me to shut up. He then instructed me to go inside and get myself a small glass of Coke if I were thirsty.

After finding a small Coke glass, I poured the soda into the glass only spilling a small amount. After I placed the two liter of Coke back into the fridge and cleaned up my mess, I noticed the trash was full of empty Coke two-liter bottles. That was odd I thought.

As soon as I opened the garage door and took a single step outside, Tom snatched the glass of Coke from my hands almost spilling it and then dumped it on the battery terminals. After I persuaded myself not to hit him over the head with the 2X4 that was laying next to me, I snapped this picture.

This odd mechanic uses the Coke to clean battery terminals that suffer from corrosion. He also informed me that he would be applying the Coke to my bumper in an attempt to take off some of the rust that had accumulated.

When I asked why he had such a huge amount of Coke in his garage he told me to shut up again and then said, "at least it's not Diet Coke!".
